I can’t say enough great things about Julian, the owner and master barber at Revolt Barbershop in Oak Cliff. From the very first appointment, Julian has been nothing short of amazing. He’s incredibly attentive, listens to exactly what you’re looking for, and is always punctual—something I really appreciate in a barber. As a Black man, I’ll admit I was initially hesitant about letting a non-Black barber cut my hair because that’s what I was used to, but Julian has completely changed my perspective. In fact, he’s the best barber I’ve ever had. His skill in cutting hair and trimming beards is unmatched. Not only does he make my mature hairline look incredible, but he’s also given me the confidence I lost after going bald during the pandemic. Julian is friendly, professional, and always willing to share great advice on maintaining my hair between cuts. Got a cut and beard trim with Julian. He did a great job. I would say the only critique I had with my cut was for the fade to blend in just a little bit more. Everybody in the shop was friendly and laid back. Love the laid back vibe of this place and how it being my first time felt like I had been coming there as a frequent customer. Great people and cuts.
